Situated on the Burrup Peninsula near Karratha, Yara Pilbara operates one of the world's largest ammonia production facilities, producing ammonia used in fertiliser to support global food production.
The adjoining Technical Ammonium Nitrate Plant produces an important material used by Australia's mining industry. Yara Pilbara is also supporting initiatives aimed at developing renewable hydrogen and lower-emissions ammonia production in the Pilbara.
